Star Trekking
at the Ligonier Valley Library

 

is an engaging, hands-on event that blends science, imagination, and fun for all ages.

Participants will explore a variety of interactive stations, including LEGO space set up, a comet demonstration, a Star Trek technology display board, and learn how to use telescopes. 

If weather permitting, guests can safely observe the Sun through solar telescopes. 
 

Activities may also include calculating distances to the moon, discovering how weight changes on different worlds, and learning some Star Trek fun.

To top it off, attendees may even have the chance to take photos in a Captain’s chair with a themed backdrop and transporter experience, making for an unforgettable journey into science and sci-fi.
