  • Props We Bring | USS SOLSTICE

Return to Home Page Descriptions of what we do Book an Appearance Disclaimer Props We Bring To Your Attraction The USS Solstice offers a wide variety of immersive props that can be brought to your event. The selection of props depends on the amount of space you are able to provide. We are happy to mix and match elements to best fit your venue—just let us know what you would like included. The props listed below are available for display and interactive use, helping us engage guests while supporting our educational mission through voluntary donations. The Bridge Set BACK TO TOP Is our premier attraction and the most immersive experience we offer . Designed to replicate the command bridge of a starship, it provides guests with a highly interactive and memorable experience . This installation requires a minimum space of 20 feet by 10 feet, though additional space is strongly recommended to enhance guest flow and visual impact. The ship backdrop measures 20 feet wide by 10 feet high and serves as the central visual feature of the display. Due to its scale and level of detail, the Bridge Set requires significant setup time and advance coordination. It's a rarity, but even denizens of a "Galaxy Far, Far Away" enjoy our setup. Even the Dark Lord of the Sith himself cannot resist our Command Chair Captain's Chair BACK TO TOP The Captain’s Chair offers guests the unforgettable opportunity to take command of a starship. It is the most popular feature of the Bridge Set and consistently draws the largest crowds. Guests are invited to sit in the chair itself and take photos, creating a memorable, hands-on experience. The Command Chair is positioned approximately 4 feet behind the main console and occupies a 4 ft × 4 ft footprint Built for durability and comfort, the chair safely supports up to 400 lbs and is widely regarded as the most comfortable seat at any event. Once seated, guests assume the role of Commanding Officer, with access to interactive buttons, lights, and sound effects. When paired with optional photo props, the experience creates the authentic feeling of standing on the bridge of a starship The Console itself BACK TO TOP The Console spans 13 feet wide and stands approximately 4 feet tall, forming the centerpiece of the Bridge Set. It features two interactive stations, each equipped with a chair, allowing guests to sit, pose, and take photos from multiple positions. The console includes video displays and Star Trek–inspired sound effects, enhancing the immersive experience. As an integrated component of the full bridge unit, the console works in conjunction with the Command Chair positioned behind it—creating the authentic sensation of standing aboard a functioning starship. The Transporter set BACK TO TOP The Transporter Set includes an interactive console unit, a themed backdrop, and transporter pads integrated into the floor, creating a fully immersive experience for guests. This installation requires approximately 10 feet by 10 feet of space and is designed for smooth guest flow and photo opportunities. When combined with sound and lighting effects, the set allows visitors to feel as though they are preparing to beam aboard a starship. In this picture, we are beamed away a furry little thing, commonly referred to as a "Tribble". We do offer "Adopt a Pet" for a small donation. Each handmade pet is furry and usually include a sound box. The Borg Alcove set BACK TO TOP The Borg Alcove features dynamic sound and lighting effects designed to draw attention and immerse guests in the experience. This visually striking prop creates a strong focal point within any display area. The alcove requires a 5 ft × 4 ft footprint and access to a power source. It is designed to accommodate one guest at a time, with a maximum height clearance of up to 9 feet. If you are not careful, your guest might be assimilated by the Borg. "Resistance is Futile!" upcoming sets BACK TO TOP We are currently developing several new interactive sets to expand our attraction offerings. These upcoming installations are designed to enhance guest engagement and further support our educational and fundraising mission. Holodeck set Here you will have an experience as if you are leaving an adventure that you created. Medical Bay set Here you can be a patient in our sick bay, were you can be treated for your injuries. Photo shoots on the ship One of our favorite ways to engage guests is by making them feel like part of the crew through immersive, high-quality photo opportunities. Our ship sets and props are designed to place visitors directly into the scene, allowing them to pose as officers, engineers, or command staff. These photo shoots create lasting memories while reinforcing the experience of stepping aboard an active starship—perfect for families, fans, and first-time visitors alike. BACK TO TOP Things on other decks of the ship Not only do we have sets but we have various activities for your guest to play. Such as: STARFLEET Target practice in the cargo bay, Riddle me this: "A stormtrooper shoots a red shirt and misses... The red shirt still dies... can you explain?" Adopt a Pet, a Ferengi drinking game ( non-alcoholic ), Who are you in the TOS ( The Original Series ) timeline, and one of our most popular display is the Trek Tech Board , and many more... on ship 1 Astronomy activities and Educational Outlook (see below for more info on this), BACK TO TOP Astronomy Activities and Educational Outreach BACK TO TOP We offer hands-on astronomy activities that introduce guests to real science through engaging, interactive experiences. From telescope demonstrations to basic rocketry, comet building, and space science experiments, our programs make astronomy accessible, exciting, and memorable for all ages. STARFLEET Academy Return to HOME PAGE STARFLEET Academy STARFLEET Academy is the educational arm of STARFLEET, The International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc., and is open to all members of the organization. There are tests on a multitude of subjects, including Star Trek topics, astronomy, technology, and history, among others. To gain access to the Academy, follow the link below, and create a login. Within a day or two, your account will be approved, and you will be able to start taking classes. Some classes are available through online quizzes, while others require you to download the test (and often the manual as well) and return it via email. Currently, the Academy is not posting grades to the Database, due to the ongoing upgrades, however, the College Directors will still grade your classes/tests/quizzes and give you your grade and your grade certificate. You should then forward your certificate to our Senior Staff. The Academy is a fun place to learn. Currently, there are three sections: Starfleet Academy, MACO Academy, and the Starfleet Marine Corps Academy. Note, that the only requirement to take a course is for you to be a member of STARFLEET. Any member can take MACO (Special Operations) or SFMCA classes. At this time, OTS and OCC are required for various promotions on our ship.
